MySQL for Excel has a known issue when upgrading an installed version. I asked you to refer your problem to the corresponding forum of the Connector product you tried to install.
Is the MySQL for Excel issue preventing you from installing or upgrading a Connector product?
Maybe I did not understand your problem in the first place.
