Hi,
Please provide information about the steps you followed in MySQL for Excel to get the error you mention. The exact steps are needed in detail to troubleshoot your scenario, the warning message may be actually OK.
About the problems you had with MySQL Workbench you will have to post a question in the MySQL Workbench forum.
