Thanks for writing in our forums.
The issue you are facing could be in the MySQL Installer or in the MySQL for Excel MSI (the intaller package itself).
There is a known issue in the MySQL for Excel MSI and a bug already created for it, this issue is only present during an upgrade. Can you please try uninstalling MySQL for Excel 1.1.3 and after that install the 1.2.0 version? If that fixes your problem it means you stumbled upon this known issue I mentioned.
If this workaround does not fix your issue it means the problem could be in the MySQL Installer, but let's try this suggestion first.
