Sorry for the late reply, I know it's been a while.
So if I am understanding correctly, you can both Import and Edit other tables, but you cannot Edit wp_posts although you can Import its data.
This is really weird, so did you say you are not getting any error message popping up when clicking "Edit MySQL Data"?
The log file is located as I said in "%APPDATA%\Oracle\MySQL for Excel", just copy exactly that location in Windows Explorer, it should resolve to the application data folder of the Windows user you use to log into Windows.
