Hello,
i also have the same problem,
i kept my mysql installation in d drive and mysql gui in c drive,
formatted c drive, installed again the same mysql gui,
then configured the instance by selecting the same my.ini file ,
and now i can not access any of my tables.

i did a mysql_upgrade command but it says

Error : Table 'oscommerce.zones_to_geo_zones' doesn't exist
error : Corrupt
if i give a select the message is

Table 'oscommerce.zones_to_geo_zones' doesn't exist error:1146

i have the files in my data dir, and all have permission set correctly
can any one help me please .......
