Prepared Statements Order of Operations
I am trying to get some statements ready to execute at a later time (just doing some initialization up-front).
Is it ok to follow this order of operations?
mysql_stmt_init();
mysql_stmt_prepare();
mysql_stmt_bind_param();
mysql_stmt_bind_result();
Then, at a later time, correctly set some bind parameter values and call mysql_stmt_execute() and mysql_stmt_fetch().
Basically, is it ok to call mysql_stmt_bind_result() before mysql_stmt_execute()?
Thanks in advance for any help.
