Look at the size of the number you just quoted. At 1 million auto_increments a day that works out to

18,446,744,073,709,551,615 / 1000000

= 18446744073709551616 days / 365

= 50539024859478223 years

In other words, at a million inserts a day you will be dead and rotted away before this is a problem.

2^64 is a bigger number than you think, so my advice is to not worry about running out of auto_increment values.
