Drastic performance cut
hi there!
i have a problem with my mysql server
i run a java aplication on a mysql 4.0.15 and although it worked really well for about 6 months, now after 30 min of running the sorting and finding features are drastically reduced (about 2-3 minutes to sort a few thousand records).
is this because of poor indexing?
i left the mysql variables untouched.could this be the problem?
and why i get this problems now and not from the first time?
