syntax needed: date range converted to number of weeks

Hi there,
I'm new to mysql and trying to learn the syntax. I'm trying to figure out how what the proper syntax is in mysql for taking two date range and calculating the number of weeks. The two date fields are titled: selections.BegDate and selections.EndDate.

Thanks for any help you can provide.
