LONGBLOB and LONGTEXT

I found some garbled information about LONGBLOB and LONGTEXT (MYSQL 5.1).
At the limit I read the max row size is 65535. The LONGxxxx tell he's limit is more gigabyte. Somebody tell the LONGxxxx stored in one row. This information is inconsistent for me...
Some forum tell the BLOB and TEXT type stored separately from row.

Q1: Where (how) stored LONGTEXT or LONGBLOB?
Q2: Where (how) stored MEDIUMTEXT or MEDIUMBLOB?
Q3: Where (how) stored TEXT and BLOB?
Q4: What type of variable stored in row and what out from row?
Q5: What is the row size limit for MyISAM?
