[SOLVED] Can't connect to remote server

I'm trying to setup a remote db server on our network.
When trying to connect using the IP address (no firewall is installed on server)
I get this error:
SQL Error (1042): Can't get hostname for your address.

What changes do I need to make for this to work?

Resolution:
Added skip-name-resolve in my.ini
Created user with connecting computer's IP.
