how to hide query output from command line under windows

Hallo. I'd like to know if it's possible (under windows) to run a query from the command line without showing query output but only the execution time.

Searching on google I've only found this thread

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1111217/mysql-disabling-the-query-output-and-showing-only-the-total-execution-time-take

but the solution is for linux.
I don't want that mysql returns me thousands of records before I can run a show profile for that query.

Thanks in advance.
