Thanks, Rick. I appreciate the Memory allocation link a great deal, this is actually a big concern of mine. I will make sure to review it carefully over the next two days.
Since I can't SSH at the moment, I just want to clarify. I need to first setup the Grants on the proper users and only then change the my.cnf?
Also, out of curiosity, by default mysql will always bind to localhost, I don't need to specify a bind-address of 127.0.0.1, right? Similarly, if I wanted to bind it to multiple IPs, do I separate them by commas, or simply add a bind-address record for each IP? ... sorry, I just couldn't find an answer to that question.
