Possible to launch Windows Scheduled Task from MySQL command?

We would like to run a Windows Scheduled Task after a particular DB operation. Can we launch the Windows Scheduled Task somehow within a stored procedure or a trigger, or anything like that in MYSQL (Version 5.5)?
Related question: if MySQL is running on Linux, is it possible to launch a Windows Scheduled task on another Windows server from within MySQL?
Not sure if this is a crazy question - I have had no luck googling it, but it would be so convenient if it was possible :)
