MySQL and Puppet
Hi
Im currently using the puppetlabs MySQL module to experiment using puppet to manage MySQL installation and configuration of instances on Ubuntu Trusty, MySQL 5.6.
Can anyone point me in the direction of any best practice guidelines or articles on how best to use puppet to manage large numbers of MySQL instances from one module in a simple and effective way? The module can do what I'm looking for from a MySQL configuration/installation perspective, however it is already several hundred lines long and I've only configured a few MySQL instances from puppet so far! I can see this becoming unmanageable when we have dozens of instances configured....
Thanks in advance.
