For restoring your MySQL data you can follow the following procedure with the help of phpMyAdmin:

1. Login to phpMyAdmin
2. Click the database and pick the database that you have to import your data into.
3. Then you can see either a list of tables already inside to the database or a alert box that says there is no tables in the database based on your setup.
4. Click the import tab from the row of tabs across the top of the screen.
5. In the next field you can see a screen and it will be the location of text file box and next to the same you can see the browse button.
6. Click the browse button and locate the backup files that are stored in your computer
7. From the drop down list select the SQL option
8. Click the button GO

This will takes a bit of time and then you can see a successful screen.
