Thanks for taking the time to look at my configuration. Not often that someone is willing to go to that extent. Really appreciate it!

I will make those changes and let it run for a couple of days and come back to you.

I have several thousand active devices (20 000). Based on that number, statistically and theoretically I could have 500 concurrent connections. I limit the device connections to 500. Each device connects in its own thread and each thread has its own connection to the database. Therefore the high number. Made it 600 to make provision for web users, etc.
