What is your application? Are you using some third-party software? Do you know what query is performing poorly?
Can you do SHOW PROCESSLIST; if so, look for some query that has a large "Time".
Is the slowlog turned on?
That is, we can help you solve the problem if you can provide the query that is being "naughty". Also provide the definition of the table(s) that the query uses. Preferably provide SHOW CREATE TABLE.
