Thanks for the tip. I somehow have doubts that it would have been disabled, because there are so many loglines :D :P No, seriously, there are same kind of items (DELETE) logged in past months but this just appears to be vanished.

Umm... binlog does not save all events? In this case (if replication would have been in use) it would have lead to two different DB table contents... atleast it should have when you use common sense.

I will activate general query log (cannot keep it on for months, there are 50 transactions per second) as you suggested and try to monitor situation.

Could this be a bug? Or could this happen if client (written in C++) is hardkilled (kill -9) due to program jam?
