Hello!

I'm using MyISAM Database engine, one of my table has 2.5 lac rows, i created a composite primary key on it, then it show Index length of 6.5 MB(data length =24 MB) ..... is it OK??

What would be the preferable index length. My table contains 60+ columns with proper data type and size. Most col. are float (12,2), Composite Primary key contains 4-5 col. of type smallint, mediumint.

Any help/comment on this is very helpful to me.

Thanks & Regards,
yash
