Table repair dilema

Hi,
I have a mysql table that has become corrupted so I have begun a table repair. It's a large table - so it's been running for an extended time. I just realized that there is a 4GB limit on MyISAM tables unless you change it - I'm at that limit on the table being repaired.

How should I proceed? Can I kill the table repair, change the size and rerun the table repair? Or is there another way I should go?

Thanks in advance.
Mark
