thanks for your answer! I also create a MyISAM table, deleted the .MYD for it them I added a record with no error. I restarted MYSQL. Tried to query the table and them I got an error. I restored the .MYD and inmediatly it change in size! I did query the table again and voila the data is there! So I have to belive that during the time the table was deleted the record was stored in some kind of table log and it sync automatically when the file is back. However I havent been able to find where this table log is.

NOTE: I am just trying to understand how MYSQL works!
