Hi.

I do not know of any such option of MyISAM.

What you could try: Have a big blob column. Enter a couple of big blobs immediately after creating the table. Remove them again. Keep away from ALTER TABLE, OPTIMIZE TABLE, and REPAIR TABLE. The deleted space is not returned to the file system, but will be reused.

If you like, you can issue a feature request on http://bugs.mysql.com/.
