Searching BLOBS

HI,
I am implementing knowledge repository feature in my application. Instead storing the files in file system i am thinking of storing it in database in the BLOB's form.

Now i want the search feature to be implemented here. Can any one give me there valuable suggestions.I want do search within the docs/files. [files will be stored in BLOBS].

I am not getting an article in mysql.com where it gives me the info about searching in BLOBs...

please help me out in this......
