Hi Ingo,

Thanks for helping before. The problem is fixed now after I switch to

MySQL-server-standard-5.0.22-0.rhel4.i386.rpm
MySQL-Max-5.0.22-0.i386.rpm

Previous slow occurs for

MySQL-server-5.0.19-0.i386.rpm
MySQL-Max-5.0.19-0.i386.rpm

as well as same series build for 5.0.18.

My OS is CentOS 4.3.

I do the switch because MySQL-server-5.0.17-0.i386.rpm doesn't support SSL. The binary build for Red Hat Enterprise Server 4 supports.

I am not sure it's the version upgrade or binary build version fix this problem. I didn't try MySQL-server-5.0.22-0.i386.rpm.

Just FYI.
