Help: Cannot display schema table information

Hello,

I have been task to migrate a MySQL instance from Red Hat Linux to Windows 2003. The instance contains two databases; one Large and one small, both Innodb.

Using the MySQL Migration GUI tool, the Migration seemed to go fine. The database came up and my applications connected. The problem that I am having is, that when I try to access the largest database with MySQL Administrator I get "Cannot fetch table information schema" and cannot see any tables. The smallest database does not give this error. Another oddity, I can see the both of the database’s tables using MySQL Browser GUI.

Being a MySQL rookie, I have been using the Administrator GUI for all, indexing, backups etc. I am worried that I may have done something wrong. Were the .frm files corrupted?

Has anyone else had a similar error? I would appreciate ay help or advice

Gene
