Can I rollback BEFORE the last commit point?

As far as I know there is a way to perform a rollback to a state which is
beyond (=BEFORE) the last commit.

In order to do this I must somehow declare this target database state in
advance as a "restorepoint" with a certain name
say "mystor1". Later I can revert to this restorepoint.

Is this possible or do I mix something with a different database product?
