InnoDB table comments

Hi,

I guess this questions goes directly to Heikki. I found that for InnoDB tables the table comment is misued to store some internal info about InnoDB. Usually the comment reads like: "my private comment; InnoDB free: 10250 kB". Why is that? Why is this stored in each and every table comment? Is it possible to switch this superflous string off as it renders the table comment for InnoDB tables quite useles?
