That's from version 5.0 (im using 5.5) and not sure it's related to the issue im having. It seems to be a common procedure to do backups based on replication servers, so I wonder why this is not covered in mysql documentation. And also, i wonder why innodb doesnt allow single table recovery like myisam by design. It would make things much easier. Right now im not sure if that's even possible with innodb!
