Yes, what you said is correct. My point is the following:
If internal temporay tables are managed with MEMORY engine (when in memory) and with MyISAM (when in disk) That means somehow the settings of those engines are affecting the performances of those temporary table..hence even if I just use Innodb on my tables the setting of MyISAM and MEMORY could affect all the queries which need internal temporary table.
