SOLUTION - Re: default storage engine <InnoDb> is not available

I was using a 5.0.24 installation package on a Win XP.
Solution:
After installation and the problems of service not starting.
Delete the 2 log files:
ib_logfile0
ib_logfile1
and then delete the data file ibdata1 from where ever you had placed it.
Then from services, just right click and start the server - it works! :)..................

IMPORTANT: If your data files contain data, then you should back it up first.
