Recovering ibdata1 without a partition table

I recently lost the partition table of a thumbdrive which was holding a virtual machine with a MySQL database running on it.

Using PhotoRec, Foremost and Scalpel, I realized that these tools could access the raw data iside the virtual hard disk. However, I need to know what to have these tools look for, as far as file headers and footers to get my database back.

Does anyone here have any ideas what hex values to use for InnoDB headers and Footers?

Thanks!
