100% CPU Usage in Win2003
Hi,
I had a simple application running on Win2000/ASP/Mysql 3.5.2 (?),
and ported it over to windows 2003/ASP/MySQL 4.1.12a-nt
Today - after 4/5 days running, the server ground to a halt.
I managed to reboot it, and checked the CPU usage.
Whenever there is MySQL traffic (1% usage, 4-6MB traffic, 3/4 queries), the server seems to hit 100% - between mysql-nt.exe and w3wp.exe.
I do not have this problem on another server running MySQL 4.1.8.
Q - is this normal?
Q - is there a fix?
Q - where should I look for a solution?
Many thanks in advance for any clues/suggestions/knowledge - the clock is ticking...
