I rebuilt the index's that I had on the floattable and the tagtable and I added the index for the tagname. It is still fairly slow... I've been running the RC for version 5.0 so I'm putting the latest version on the PC and I'm going to see if that will help at all.
BTW... the floattable is around 7 million rows and growing...
