The size of the three files .frm, .MYD and .MYI doesn't change for an hour now, I guess indexes are being built. This is not home designed database, users requested it to be installed to speed up their statistical calcuations. The only concern is the performance after the database is installed, so indexes are important.

I feel there is nothing much changed due to the few variables' change, except tomorrow morning I get the prompt back.
At this time, SELECT will not come back with result, or I didn't wait long enough for it.
