Re: CPU Usage Maxing Out

Hi Rick,

I definitely turned to the Wordpress forum first and have not gotten any response. I've used all the tips on the that forum from other users who have also experienced high or maxed out CPU usage over the past 5 years.

I think there are several different issues going on, including a brute force attack that occurred on my site, but my digging deeper revealed the mySQL Advisor Issues and Recommendations: 17 total. I don't know if these are things I should legitimately be concerned about, or if the diagnosis is highly sensitive, and therefore the issues not "big deals". (See my first post to read an example).

My database is less than 4MB.

Regarding your other suggestions, how do I go about performing those? I did view the "Variables" tab and can provide info based on what I see there, but honestly I don't know what I'm looking at. I see references to both InnoDB and MyISAM with data populating them. Sorry to ask for hand-holding here, but I'm a newbie! Always willing to learn...

Thank you for taking the time to look at this.
