Thanks for the suggestion but we generally work on databases that are brand new so the drop tables does nothing and truncate is not an option (again, thanks for at least the potential workaround). I believe this has to be an installation or OS issue but I cannot determine what would make create tables run so slow. We create about 350 tables so adding all that time on to the execution is excruciating!
