Typo3 and ndb?

Hi all!

We need a HA database and play around with mysql cluster 5.0 for a while. Now it turned out that ndb and typo3 aren't made for each other. Although we won't need all the stuff typo3 provides. Is it somehow feasible to run typo3 on a cluster or is it just a bad idea?

The alternative would be to run several mysqld with loadbalancer and one data source (nfs or even coda-fs?) in order to use InnoDB or MyISAM. How about that?

Ah, another question. Is there an estimation when mysql cluster 5.1 will be stable?

Thanks for help!

Regards,
A
