Have a quick look in your ndbd datadir and look for a couple of log files in there. Mainly ndb_<ID>_error.log and ndb_<ID>_out.log for some textual information about what might of happened, if there is any files such as ndb_<ID>_trace.log.1 this is debug output of the crash, if it is a bug, mysql developers can use this to see what happened.

You can vamp up loggin on the mgmd by using the clusterlog leves; eg; all clusterlog statistics=15 see; http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/mysql-cluster-log-events.html
