Create Index in ndbcluster engine

Hi,
I want to create an index on a column varchar(4000) in a table stroed in ndbcluster engine and this give me the following error
ERROR 1118 (42000) at line 2074: Row size too large. The maximum row size for the used table type, not counting BLOBs, is 14000. This includes storage overhead, check the manual. You have to change some columns to TEXT or BLOBs
I want to know if it is possible to create the index over that column and what i have to do to perform this operation.
