4.1.7 is very old - many things have been fixed since then.
Is this related to Cluster at all? You're talking about a -standard build and MyISAM tables, which really doesn't sound Cluster related. If it isn't, please move it to another forum. Also, try reproducing with the latest 4.1 release.
