Hi All,

Can the below possible.

I have mysql db server on red hat linux 4.0 enterprise edition.

first server db data table is :

/opt1/mysql/data/abc

In the above folder i am having all my database file i.e. .frm etc.

Now can i define a mount point on the 2 server to the first db server.
i.e i will define a mount point on the 2 db to first servers data folder

And in the second server i will define the data directory to that mount point in the mysql config file.

Question 1: Is it the above thing possbile.
Question 2 : If yes then what will happen i get a request on the both server for the same table. Will mysql server handle this.

Regards,
Anand
