Bill,

FYI, I have set the NFS system to default mode which allow all activities (read, write,execute)

Perhaps you could explain further regarding your statement "Always put the datadir on a filesystem that is physically local to the server running the mysqld process." as I 've declared in config.ini datadir appointed to specific location in a filer system.

Is there any solution/steps for mysql clustering and the data located somewhere else via nfs since there is a statement claimed that it is not adviseble to NFS...bla bla..bla(by XXXX).

Is there any possibility to mount data directory to the NFS system. If it can, what is the right confguration.
