Can I run stored procedures against the NDB storage engine?

Hi there,

I'd like to invoke stored procedures (from a C API client) to execute fairly basic SQL queries to write a MySQL Cluster, ie against the NDB storage engine.

Can someone tell me if this is possible please? (I vaguely recall reading/hearing somewhere that this functionality is not supported in MySQL Cluster but I may have been mistaken)

If it is possible, are there any pitfalls to be avoided? Would I better off just using the C API, given that performance is not really an issue in my case? (testing and maintenance would of course be far simpler if stored procedures could be used)

Many thanks to anyone who can offer any words of wisdom!

Ian
