question about the disk usage

Hi:
I have configured ndb as follows: 2 datanodes and 1 management node;I use a TPCC client to test the availability of the system.
As we know,before the tpcc test,we must load data into the database first.but I notice that when i load 1 warehouse data(about 70M data),it will take 1G size in the disk of the datanodes(all the 2 datanodes).My question is :why it will take so much disk spaces?how to reduce the spaces?
