The motivation of mine is do some comparision between Main memory database and Disk database,especially when the data set fits entirely in the buffer of DBMS.Because in this case,both MMDB and DRDB have no disk I/O,I want to know the performance difference in this environment.
As you mentioned above,the experiment environment setting I proposed is not feasible to do this test.
So，I can not choice NDB and InnoDB as the Prototype to do this experiment.What should I do？How about choice Postgresql vs. NDB? Postgresql vs.MonetDB ?or others DBMS?Could you give me some suggestions about how to building a reasonable experiment environment?
