measuring slave lag without sysdate() - 4.1.13
Hi everyone,
I'm forced to use 4.1.13 still, and was surprised to discover that sysdate() seems to be affected by Set Timestamp in this version?
The problem with this is that I can't measure the replication lag using the usual method of inserting "heartbeat" in master and slave time using sysdate().
Does anyone have any ideas how else I might be able to hack this up until I can get the people involved to agree to upgrading?
thanks!
