"log position on Master not readable. permission problems?"

Hello!

I have a Master-Slave replication.
I wanted to configure the master on the slave now, but when I click OK I get this error message: "log position" auf Master nicht lesbar. Rechteproblem?
We have german systems, translated it means:
"log position on Master not readable. permission problems?"
When I connect to the Master with phpMyAdmin or Workbench I can read the log-position. What could be the problem?

The replication-user has just replication-slave permissions.

Both, Master and Slave, are MySQL Version 5.5.17 on Windows XP Professional SP3.
The weird thing: I can run the exact configuration on many other systems and I never got this error before.

Has anyone else had this problem before?
