All,
I have database which is growing too fast and I can not afford to loose any data from this database. So, I am exploring the possibility of having a reporting database. So in my reporting database I will have data from the beginning to now, while my production database will have only two months of data. Is it possible to do sequential dump from my production dump and do a recovery on the reporting database? If so can someone point me to location where I can get resources regarding this. Thank in advance
