Mysql Enterprise Backup - apply-log
Hi to all,
I just want to ask if a compressed backup using MySQL Enterprise Backup can be prepared for restoration using apply-log to the other server which has also an MEB installed. Will this work even if it is not apply-log on the same machine where it was backuped?. Reason why I ask is, the backup file when compressed really reduced the size which I wanted to restore to other server over the network. It will save me alot of time transferring Gigabytes of files if not yet applied-log since it uncompresses the backup when I do this patch.
